  1. Edgar po: Dear Sir Pascual,
1st, a virus is considered non-living so using hand sanitizers & alcohol & bactericides is not only useless, it is senseless & wasteful (of resources). We might just be creating another superbug, which is how superbugs came about.
2nd, assuming we can “kill” viruses, hand sanitizers & alcohol et al would still leave the virus on your hands. Washing hands frequently & thoroughly is better. This physically removes the virus or, if water is not available (because we have a water crisis as well) use wet wipes or any disposable tissue (hence the mad rush for toilet paper).
3rd, if people insist on hand sanitizers et al (because this gives them some sense of security), better use hydrogen peroxide. [Please refer to URL: https://www.drugdetails.com/does-hydrogen-peroxide-expire/%5D
4th & final, (N95) face masks are useless because its filter is only good for anything 0.5 microns or larger while viruses are commonly 0.1 micron, which explains why photographs of people dead on the streets with their face masks on. Moreover, last week, UK’s Daily Mail reported that CoViD-19 can enter through the eyes.
Finally, the dilemma of media is the choice between sense of duty (to report events as they occur & impartially) against causing or exacerbating the panic and paranoia (that may result from reporting, responsibly or otherwise).
